.UNATTENDED PAYMENTS
MagicPay puts a rugged, certified card reader on any unattended machine – and a complete platform behind it to run, monitor and grow your business.
Fewer customers carry cash every year. When a machine only takes coins and bills, the sale walks away. Adding card and mobile-wallet acceptance captures those customers, lifts the average transaction, and keeps your machines earning around the clock – with less cash to collect, count and protect.
Stop turning away the growing share of buyers who simply don’t carry cash.
+28%more customer footfall captured
Card buyers aren’t limited to the coins in their pocket, so baskets run larger.
32%higher average ticket size
Fewer cash pickups, less counting, and less exposure to theft and shrinkage.
-70%reduced coin collection trips
Contactless, chip and mobile wallets at the machine – the checkout experience your customers already expect everywhere else.
Give your customers a faster, simpler way to pay with a seamless checkout experience built for the way people shop today.
Our trusted payment technology helps businesses process transactions securely and reliably. Built with proven solutions and advanced security, MagicPay keeps every payment protected. Enjoy dependable performance across in-person, unattended, and online transactions.
Offer your customers flexible and convenient ways to pay with secure, reliable payment methods. MagicPay supports a seamless payment experience across in-person, online, and unattended transactions.
No stitching together a reader from one vendor, a SIM from another and a gateway from a third. MagicPay delivers the hardware, the connection, the payment gateway and the management dashboard as a single, supported solution.
Rugged, PCI-certified unattended readers built to live outdoors – the UPT30 and UPT3 Mini.
4G LTE SIM, Wi-Fi and Ethernet on board, so every machine stays online.
Secure authorization, tokenization and settlement, funds deposited to your account.
Monitor every machine, configure remotely and pull sales & telemetry.
Custom alerts for transaction events and terminal status.
Broad protocol support, plus DEX telemetry.
From the reader on the machine to the deposit in your bank – installed, connected and supported by one team. Built on PAX Technology and Dejavoo Systems hardware.
Choose the terminal that fits your machines and environment. Both accept tap, chip and mobile wallets, install behind the front panel, and connect over MDB, Pulse, RS232 or Executive.

Bracket & hardware for the machine.
MDB harness and power leads included.
Cellular connectivity, no separate SIM to manage.
Loaded with your MID and ready to plug in.
The reader plugs into the machine’s existing control harness. MDB (Multi-Drop Bus) is the vending industry’s standard for smart machines; Pulse drives simpler machines that start on a credit signal. Between them, almost any unattended machine can take a card.
The reader connects as a cashless device on the machine’s MDB bus – alongside the coin and bill mechanisms – and talks directly to the machine controller (VMC).
MDB levels supported
Level 1 – basic cashless vend
Level 2 — refunds & revalue
Level 3 — multi-vend & item data
For machines that start on a pulse or credit signal rather than a data bus, the reader authorizes the card and sends the start pulse to release the machine.
Typical Pulse machines
Car wash · Air & vacuum · Laundry · Amusement
Customer picks the product, then taps to pay.
Customer taps first to authorize, then makes a selection.
One tap buys several items in a session, settled together.
Reads sales and machine-health data on a schedule — so you know what sold and which machines need attention, without a site visit.
Every reader reports into the MagicPay management dashboard. Configure MDB levels, set vending modes, schedule DEX reads and watch each machine’s status in real time – from your office or your phone, without touching the machine.
See which machines are online or down, in real time.
Void or refund any transaction from the cloud via the Virtual Terminal.
Set MDB level, vending mode and timeouts over the air.
Pull transaction and telemetry reports per machine.
Push updates and commands without a site visit.
Full desktop & mobile browser management console included with every deployed terminal.
A card tap on the terminal doesn’t have to be a one-time sale. Turn it into a stored, recurring charge – and if you build your own hardware, our Android SDK lets you embed the same card-present and recurring capability directly into your device.
A single card-present tap on the terminal securely tokenizes the card and creates a subscription — no separate sign-up flow needed.
Building your own unattended terminal? Embed our Android SDK to add certified card-present acceptance and recurring billing to your own hardware.
Monthly locker, storage or equipment access billed automatically off a single tap.
Auto-reload a stored balance for vending, laundry or EV charging on a schedule.
Keep your own hardware design while MagicPay handles certification and processing underneath.
Tap once – the same amount charges again on schedule, no manual re-entry.
Card data is securely tokenized at first tap using network tokens, with Automatic Card Updater keeping expired or reissued cards current.
Whether you use our terminals or your own Android hardware, the same tap can become a onetime sale or an ongoing subscription – your call.
If it takes a coin, a token or a card today, MagicPay can put modern payments on it. A few of the places our unattended readers go to work:
Snacks, drinks and combo machines on MDB.
Self-checkout and self-service kiosks.
Tap-to-charge at the station.
Pay stations, gates and lots.
Pulse-start bays and machines.
Washers, dryers and amenity machines.
Unattended ticket booths and gate kiosks.
Card reload kiosks and game readers.
Pumps and pay-at-the-island terminals.
Standardize on MagicPay across your entire route and manage it all together.
Tell us about your machines and locations, and we’ll recommend the right readers, get them connected, and have you accepting cards fast.
We match the right reader and connection to each machine type.
Readers go in behind the panel, come online over LTE, and configure remotely.
Accept cards & wallets, watch sales, and manage the fleet from one dashboard.
