August at MagicPay

Hello readers and subscribers, every few months we update you as to what is happening with our company, what new products we offer, what changes have been made, improvements, feedback and so forth. I think August is truly been one of the busiest months for us this year. As our growth is increasing and new customers are joining so are our products, services, prices and customer appreciation programs , or as we like to call it, merchant appreciation programs.

This month we have officially launched our Canadian merchant account program, which means that from now on Canadian merchants will not be considered “high risk” or “offshore” for us. The rates are almost identical to the ones in the US and most of the services that are offered in the US are offered in Canada as well, with a few exceptions.  The online payment gateway has the exact same prices and rates, our mobile payment solution works slightly different as we now offer free wireless terminals in Canada (also in the US).

One of the highlights of this month has been the Fanminder Offers program that we have been working on for quite a bit. Fanminder is a mobile and social marketing tool that will help merchants increase their revenue by an average of 8%. Fanminder is offered for free to all merchants who wish for it under most merchant account programs (list can be found below). The way Fanminder works is by allowing merchants to send coupons, sales, specials and other messages to customers via Facebook, Twitter, text messages, emails and your website. All the work can be done from our online back office that will allow you to create a desired ad in just a couple of minutes by using one of the hundreds customized and professionally designed ads on the software.
